Team Powell is off to the Euros!

I am delighted to announce that we have had 4 of our members from Team Powell selected to represent England at the ITFU European Championships in Italy this year! Those that have been selected by the England coaching team are myself, Mr Dean Casey, Miss Sofja Vjacina, and Harry Holloway.

Selection was incredibly tough, with only 45 spaces being fought for by some amazing individuals across the country. For Team Powell to be able to claim 4 of those spots? Simply amazing.

To those who missed out - your time will come! Keep up the good work, support those around you, and support your wellbeing and training. As a younger competitor myself, it took me 3 years before I even medalled, and a further 3 before winning my first gold. We are given challenges to become stronger - it is up to you and your mindset to come out ontop!

Across the next few months, we will be stepping up our fundraising in order to help our athletes get out to Italy.
